What type of courses do you offer?

We offer a full range courses such as Adult First Aid, Paediatric First Aid and First Aid at Work, this however is ever expanding and we will soon be able to offer courses covering topics like Mental Health and much more.

Do you offer bespoke courses?

Simply Yes. We can create a bespoke course to suit your first aid needs and other such needs and/or if you are unsure as to any legal requirements are needed we are happy to assist in building a bespoke course just for you and your staff.

When are your courses?

In order to best meet your business requirements courses can be organised to take place during the week or weekend and days or evening.

Where are courses held?

Generally, we attempt to have courses delivered on your premises, however if a suitable space does not exist then we can source a venue in a locality to suit you and your staff requirements.

Are there any limits on the number of students?

All courses have a maximum student to teacher ratio of 12:1. If you are looking to accommodate larger or smaller groups than this, then please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, all courses are inclusive of tuition, handouts, certificates and any first aid equipment required will be provided by the tutors. Courses are not inclusive of venue hire (if required) or travel costs of staff.

Do your provide course materials?

Yes. All courses come with reading material in the form of a booklet. Handouts will be available on all our courses with notation space, allowing notes and references of importance to be added by the student.

Is there an exam?

No. However all students will be expected to attain a certain level of competence, in particular students will be expected to demonstrate CPR on a mannequin to a required standard.

Those who do not wish to take part in this will not meet the criteria to pass the course and will only be issued with a ‘Certificate of Attendance’. This is a requirement of the awarding body, but please rest assured that we will work with each student/staff to be given every possibility to be successful in passing the course.

Who is the awarding body for the qualification?

Qualifications Network are the awarding body for all qualifications who are the leader in this area with probably the highest level of customer support. As an individual or a company looking for a course you are important to us and you will not find another awarding organisation that responds to centre requests after 5pm and over weekends, but that is when many of our customers need that support.

As an Awarding Organisation we are regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland, we are the perfect organisation to help you on your learning journey.

What insurance cover do you have in place in case an accident happens?

Public liability and professional indemnity insurance is in place on every course and this is provided by Hiscox Insurance who have won many awards for they services

What if a student fails to attend a course?

If student fails to attend course, it will be recorded as a no show and students’ employer will be informed, however we do understand that sometimes an emergency can occur and the student with the permission of his/her employer will be offered the next available course.

Do I need to renew my qualification?

Yes, is the answer… Your qualification is valid for 3 years. To avoid unnecessary legal issues it is advised to renew your qualification before it expires, however, renewing your qualification once every year is best practice.
